Nysmith students dominated the DC Urban Debate League Tournament at St. Patrick’s Episcopal Day School in Washington, DC on Saturday, May 20th.
Competing undefeated in five rounds of debate in the Varsity Division, Ben Joel and Aaron Joy placed first, and Alex Joel and Caroline Huber took second place. Two other teams of Nysmith students, Cami Heik and Anvi Kalyana, and Raed Mirza and Sankrith Ramani, placed third and fourth respectively.
